Sponsorship of the opening of the Grodno sensory room

On 12. 03. 2015 the formal opening of the first Belarusian sensory room was held in the health care establishment “Grodno regional clinical center “Psychiatry and narcology””. The room is located in the children’s hospitalization department. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Health, Andrei Strizhak, and the Director of “Biocom Technology” Ltd., Gennady Getsold.

The sensory room is a complex intended for active impact on all of the child’s sensory organs and its nervous system. In particular, the relaxation unit features soft covering, padded chairs with pellets, an air bubble column with a soft platform and safe mirrors, toys, an aromatherapy installation, a stereo with a set of relaxing music. The activation unit includes equipment with light and optical effects, sensor panels for hands and feet and a dry pool. Sand therapy will also be implemented, for which a special table was purchased, on which one can draw with sand.

The opening of the sensory room was made possible thanks to the socially-oriented position of “Biocom Technology” Ltd. and its sponsorship of the building’s renovations and purchase of professional equipment adapted to children’s perception.
