The winners of the Republican “Best Entrepreneur of 2009” contest have been announced
On June 22, 2010, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decree №315 «Regarding the winners and laureates of the Republican “Best Entrepreneur of 2009” contest “.
On July 23, 2010 the “Best Entrepreneur of 2009” contest was concluded. The contest was held for the 13th time. Over the years, the event has had more than twice the number of participants — the best were selected out of almost a thousand contenders.
Over 940 entrepreneurs took part in the contest. The coveted award was received from the Prime Minsiter by 47 businessmen from all over Belarus.
The list of the best incudes 15 winners and 32 laureates. “Biocom Technology” Ltd. was a laureate in the “Best entrepreneur in the field of wholesale and retail trade” nomination.

The victory of the winners this year is twice as important, twice as significant and twice as festive. You have become the best in a difficult economic year for everyone, including our country. We will continue to attract investments and support your sector of the economy as one that is the most mobile and promising.
Today, one in every seven working people are active in the field of small- and middle-scale business. And the 90’s scheme of “buy and sell” is no longer applicable. Manufacturing is now at the forefront. Therefore, we see an increase in the investments into an actual sector of Belarusian economy.
