Slatted floors
Slatted floors
One of the new technologies in animal housing construction is the use of concrete slatted floors. The building process includes on only the installation of concrete constructions, but also design of complexes with the possibility of pump-based manure removal. The possibilities for manufacturing concrete slatted floors with various slat sizes allows to use them not only in cattle housing facilities, but also in swine housing.
The use of concrete slatted floors is the optimal technical solution for swine band cattle breeding. Concrete slatted floors have proven to be a good solution for bedding-free housing. Slatted floors are a triangle facing downward, under which accumulation baths are located. The use of slatted floors can be implemented for all age groups of animals at all phases of housing, growing and feeding thereof. Slatted floors are the main condition for the use of modern technologies for manure removal and disposal, which allow to mechanize manure removal.
Advantages:
- Concrete slatted floors ensure goof hygiene in animal housing buildings and significantly reduce the amount of manual labor;
- The floors are, as a rule, installed at manure removal canals and ensure excellent manure removal from the floor surface;
- Due to no use of the absence of use of bedding, you spend less on preparation, storage and delivery of bedding, as well eliminate the danger of appearance of infection with the bedding;
- It is a condition for the use of modern manure removal technologies which allow to mechanize manure removal, significantly improve work conditions, substantially ease or exclude unpleasant and labor-intensive manual labor.
Slatted floors have and efficient anti-slipping surface which does not require any cleaning expenses, and are highly durable and resistant to aggressive manure fractions. They are made of concrete with an optimal set of fillers and additives. The products have high compression strength, sufficient water-resistance and frost-resistance. They are not slippery, they emit no harmful substances, they are resistant to averse conditions of the sewage environment and disinfectants. The efficiency of using slatted floors leads to an improvement in sanitary and hygienic conditions of animal housing, reduced incidence of diseases, reduced labor effort, increased rate of return of agricultural enterprises.
