Unitary enterprise “Sovkhoz Smorgonskiy”

Grodno region, Smorgon area, Osinovschizna village. The “Astronaut” milking farm for 840 heads of milking cattle with 6 “Astronaut A3” milking robots and 6 “Astronaut A3 Next” robots.

“Astronaut” milking farm

In August 2009 “Biocom Technology” Ltd. installed 6 “Astronaut A3”, and in January 2010 6 “Astronaut A3 Next” robots were also installed. In order to supply concentrate feeds to the milking robots, 4 plastic silos were installed with a volume of 15m3 each. For improved milk cooling with no risk of freezing, 4 “Nautilus” milk-cooling tanks with a 5000 liter volume were supplied. To provide optimal cow comfort, “Texas” cow brushes were installed. “Pavicow” polyurethane mats were places in stalls. This greatly improved the wellbeing of the animals. The use of modern technologies for milking, housing and feeding has resulted in the production of “extra”-grade milk.
