JSC “Lepel canned milk goods factory”

Vitebsk region, Lepel area, Yurkovschina village. The “Zaozerye” farm for 840 heads of milking cattle has 12 “Astronaut A3” milking robots installed by “Biocom Technology”, Ltd.

“Zaozerye” farm

For concentrate feed supply to the robots, 4 silos made of hot-galvanized steel and 2 glass-fiber plastic silos with volumes of 10m3 and 3x5m3 were installed.

4 “Cosmix” concentrate feeders have been installed. “Texas” cow brushes and “Luna” automatic brushes have been installed.

For improved milk cooling with no risk of freezing, 2 “Nautilus” milk-cooling tanks, each with a 10000 liter volume, were supplied. In order to promote natural animal behavior, “Interlock” rubber mats were placed in the alleys.

In 2013, 2 single-unit and 2 dual-unit “Astronaut A4” milking robots were installed, 2 concentrate feeding systems for the robots and 2 concentrate feeding systems to the “Cosmix” feeders, as well as 3 external silos for concentrate feed storage (15 m3 volume) were installed. For individual and balanced concentrate feeding based on each animal’s performance, 6 “Cosmix” concentrate feeders. For improved milk cooling with no risk of freezing, 2 “Nautilus” milk-cooling tanks, each with a 5000 liter volume, were supplied.

For cleaning, stress relief and provision of optimal cow comfort, active oscillating brushes and inverted L-shaped brushes were installed in the barns.
